Functional Curriculum Guide
Developed by the Department of Education in Newfoundland and Labrador, this Functional Curriculum Guide is comprised of four domains: career education, personal development/interpersonal skills, independent living and functional academics. Each domain area is subdivided into strands, each strand is subdivided into topics and each topic contains outcomes. The outcomes will be used by the student’s planning team to design the student’s educational plan and form the foundation of the student’s program.
